This past Sunday a public announcement was made regarding the hospitalization of Beverly Matthews' mother. Crossroads has been interceding for the Matthews family for some time and it was only our desire to embrace them with grace-filled visitation. But it was a complete oversight on my part to assume that visitation was in order. It's been brought to my attention that the family is in need of privacy. I can completely understand this, having had my son Jordan hospitalized for 3 weeks. The traffic can be overwhelming and the much needed rest can be hard to come by.
I extend my apologies to the Matthews family and ask that we all refrain from any further visitation. Spread the word about this to those you are in contact with. In exchange, let us continue to extend prayerful support to this precious family as they care for their loved ones.
